Hey everyone. Welcome back to another episode of landing and perfect. So I wanted to talk about. A meditation that I did the other day. I'm not someone who meditates on a regular basis. Although I do find a lot of benefit from meditating. So it is a goal of mine to start incorporating that more into my daily life. I made it a goal of mine in the next 30 days. So I started this about a week ago, the next 30 days, I want to do a meditation a day, and this is like a five minute meditation, five to 15 minutes a day. So I started listening to this one by Gabby Bernstein, who I really enjoy her guided meditations. Her voice is soothing to me. I love the music that she chooses and just the way she guides the meditation. So she has some free ones on YouTube, but then she also has a membership where there's a lot of guided meditations in there. If you'd be interested, but anyways, So this meditation that I found on YouTube was Gabby Bernstein meditation for a new life. During the meditation, she was guiding me to reflect on what my life feels like living in the life that I'm meant to live in. So this had sparked a thought from a time when I was 19. And I went to see the psychic at my aunt's house at the time, I was very curious and into an interested in psychics. And my buy-in was a lot stronger than my doubt at the time, which I can't say. The same in the years that had followed, but anyhow, I had recorded that session and I listened to it multiple times and I thought about it so often just looking forward to the amazing things that this psychic predicted for my future. And from what I can remember, there were a few things that she had said that stuck out to me. So the first one was, she said that there was this man who really loved me and cared about me and he had dark hair and I went to high school with him. She said that he was the man that I would marry. And I was like, who the heck is this man? Who could this be? I couldn't figure. Figure out who it was. Well, five years later, I connected with someone that I had dated very briefly in high school and he had dark hair and he definitely seemed to care about me a lot. Well, I married this man and we've been together for almost 14 years now. So the second thing that she said was. I wasn't going to be a nurse. I was like a nurse. I worked in the medical field. I worked up north. Cause when I did this, uh, psychic session, I was in North Carolina. And she said I was up north. Well, I have family in Ohio. I'm, I've lived most of my life in Ohio. So I'm thinking, okay, that's where it is. And she couldn't quite put her finger on this, but she knew it was something like a nurse. Well, I wasn't nurse and now I'm a nurse practitioner. So that to me is something like a nurse, but at the time, Nurse practitioners weren't super popular. So the third thing was, she said that she saw a lot of money around me and that I would one day own a big house, 2,500 square feet. And that it would, there would be a pool that sat off to the side in the backyard and it would be a dream home to me, a home that. I never would have expected to live in. So a few years ago, my husband and I bought a home. That was the exact description down to the square footage. And I was so in love with this house. So some of the things that she said, didn't come true. She had said that I would have one child and it would be a little girl. Well, I have no little girls. I have two amazing sons. I was so convinced that my first child was going to be a little girl that I almost immediately went out and bought all girl clothes. You can imagine my surprise when they told me I was having a boy, I'm like, what? I'm like you have got it wrong because this is definitely supposed to be a girl. So she also told me that I would have my own business as a kickboxing instructor. I have zero interest in that, but I'm not going to say never who knows? Maybe one day I will. But, uh, it's just not, it wasn't something that I was interested in. So when she said that I'm like, Hmm, okay. Anyhow, a few years after this psychic interest of mine, I started questioning the credibility of psychics. I often wondered how. They could see into the future. And if there was any truth to them, actually being able to do that. I mean, there's many things that she had said that obviously came true. So there must be some kind of. Validity to those, right. Well, to be honest, the one reason why I was still on the fence about it and not thinking that. It was completely a sham was because of the exact house description that she gave me or the things that did come true and how specific all the details that she was giving me were and how they came true. Now, during this meditation with Gabby Bernstein, I feel like I gained some clarity and the answer to this, because I mean, during this time it just became so obvious to me and it has to do with the power of our subconscious mind. So I don't believe that psychics can predict the future. I believe that they can pick up on our energies and they have very creative minds. So I don't think that scene psychics are a bad thing by any means, but I do believe that it's wise to be very cautious in what you spend your time thinking about and believing. From what the psychic has said during your session. And that's because you are what you believe. So it's my opinion, that psychics plant seeds in our minds. So for an example, When she said, I will have a 2,500 square foot home with a pool on the side. And the backyard marry the man of my dreams that I went to high school with. He had dark hair, all those things. So I fully believed that this would come true when she's home. She told me this. So I, I believe that this seed that she planted and the amount of time that I spent envisioning my life would become of this. I fully believe that those would come true. So I believe that she planted the seed and I spent a significant amount of time believing that these things would come true. And this was embedded then into my subconscious mind because I had the belief, I had the faith that all those things would come true. It was what I desired. It was what I believed would come true from the moment that she had said it. And the thought was rooted into my subconscious mind. So I started. Taking the steps in that direction. And I think that's why some of these things had come true. So as far as psychics predicting gender, like when she said that about the girl, like, well, why didn't that come true if you believe it, if you want it, if you desire a little girl, then why wouldn't that come true? Well, I mean, you got a 50, 50 shot of guessing, right? Right. Like the psychic. And no matter how much I desired or wanted a girl, I mean, I'm just that science, like I'm not going to be able to like, make that happen and as far as the kickboxing thing goes, I believe that it never came true because it wasn't a true desire of mine. It's not something that I wanted. I was just kind of like, okay, well, we'll see, like I wasn't buying into that. Like I was the other things, so it's not getting into my subconscious mind and I'm not taking steps in the direction to make that happen. So you can see how all of this might. Be something to be cautious about. If a psychic predicts something bad that will happen in your future. If you're spending a lot of time thinking about that bad thing, that's going to happen in your future. And you're believing that it's true, then you're spending time envisioning it and it's getting into your subconscious mind. And then you're taking steps in that direction to. Maybe one day have that come true as well. So that can be. Uh, very. Sketchy thing, like, just be very cautious of what you do believe when you're talking with these psychics. I'm not saying that psychics are bad by any means. And if that's something that you enjoy and you like going to and spending your time and money doing then by all means, I believe that the one that I saw helped me plant a seed that helped me create a life that I very much love. So. Even though I don't believe that, that they can actually predict the future. I do believe that they can plant the seed and you can start taking steps in that direction. If you have faith and you believe in what they say, because like I said, I do believe that they have very creative minds and they can pick up on people's energies. And I'd. I love to know what your perspective is on this topic. You're someone who likes to see psychics, if you're someone who's completely against them, then just share what your thoughts are because I find this fascinating. I really liked to talk about it inside note. Meditations are a powerful tool to gain clarity. So if you have never tried it or maybe you feel. Or maybe you have, but you felt like you kind of sucked at it or you weren't very good at it. Cause I hear that all the time too. And I've even thought that myself, I just highly recommend you try and again, guided meditations are a great place to start. Gabby Bernstein is one of my favorites. So just check her out on YouTube. Um, but you can, and you can find other like free ones. It doesn't have to be Gabby Bernstein or anything. There's, there's a lot of them on YouTube to try. The guided meditations they're my favorite. So I don't know. Anyways, I just, it was a topic that I found really interesting and I don't know, the meditation was really great. And I was like, oh my gosh, like that's what it was. I believe that's why these things come true when psychics tell you something, because you've just, you're thinking about it. You have a desire for it, and then it gets into your subconscious mind and. And then you take steps in that direction to make it happen. So I don't know. I love this topic. So share your thoughts with me on Instagram. And I hope you have a beautiful day and I'll see you next week. Thank you so much for joining me on this episode of landing imperfect.
